Previously acquired 90 units of Haulotte Compact 14 scissor lifts, AJ Networks Co., Inc. has acquired another 396 units of Star 6 vertical masts this year to support the growing demand in domestic AWP rental, adding the Korean company’s AWP fleet to 14,000 units.
The company also has a fleet of 3000 forklift that supports the forklift rental business and expanded their pallet rental business.
The machines are currently leased for major projects in construction and maintenance works which include the constructions of Samsung and SK Hynix semiconductor factory sites in Korea, general construction in Japan, construction of Samsung Field in Vietnam and a plant site in Saudi Arabia.
Major semiconductor project sites from Samsung and SK Hynix, infrastructure developments such as Jeju airports and increase demand in logistics contribute strong growth on the AWP market from 2015 to 2017, including forecast on modest growth in 2018.
Operating in 12 locations around the country, AJ Networks Co., Inc. holds 25% of the AWP market share in Korea and has established subsidiaries in the USA and in Vietnam and an office branch in Saudi Arabia.
